Default 550sx Stator

I have a 550sx that needs a new stator. Does anybody have one lying around to sell? I don't really want to pay $400 for a new one. Also, is it something that is simple and easy to do on my own or would i be better off paying a shop to do it?

What's it not doing. No spark or charge. As I am in the process of doing my charge coil. When I figure out if its the charge coil or rectifier or both.

It idles with a few misses every few seconds but when you try to rev it, it just bogs down. So it is a problem with the spark.

Are you sure. Just a thought start at the cheapest thing first. Two new plugs and a compression test. I had same issue with a motorbike and father told me change cheapest thing first and it was the plug

Yes, I am sure. I already did those things and tested the stator. Compression was 150/130 and the stator readings showed it was bad.

Jet Ski Kawasaki Pulse Coil, Charge Coil, Lighting Coil , Exciter Coil - Atlantic Jet Sports Waverunner Jetski Engines, Parts & Accessories there you go job done cheapest I've found.

thanks! i hadn't found the individual coils for sale, just whole stators. Do you know how hard it is to replace the coils?

I have to change a charge coil soon but I don't think it will be hard as it only two coils and about 4 soldered joints
