Default 1993 750 ss oil problem

Hi All . I just acquired a 1993 750 ss. It seems to be flooding the engine will a lot of oil. It's so bad that the engine dosn't even turn over 2 times before the plugs or shot. There is a lever on the engine also that operates a valve on the lower case. Anyone knows what that is for?? Should I disable the oil injection system and just premix it or is there a larger problem with this engine. Thanks....

the lever should be to drain the motor if it sinks. get rid of the injection system and premix! i have had a jetski 3 weeks and ALL posts are the same! block off the injection and carry extra gas cans to mix! hope i helped being a newbie and all!
