hello everybody
just purchased a used kawasaki stx1100 98 model,
can anybody tell me what fuel size the fuel tank is and roughly what top speed to expect, its topping out at 83kph at present, and is there any mods we can do to increase the top end speed. ski has only done 70 hrs.

Mine will turn 7200 rpm and 53 mph this is where the rev limiter comes in.

can the rev limiter be turned off or raised? I've got a truck that has been tuned and the rev limiter was raised.

I say rev limiter but I do not know how they are limiting it actually. I feel sure it would vary some if not limited. I would say if you want more out of your ski you should look to performance parts and not just more RPM (I feel sure the factory has it regulated to a good safe RPM - it will blow up at some point)
