I have just put together a 900ZXI that i got as a basket case. I put in a new magnetic switch/key assembly purchased from Babbit OEM parts. I connected it to the wiring loom. When I place the key on the switch it does not seem to fasten to the switch magnetically. And when I turn on the switch nothing works, start button, oil light, temp light, etc. Just like there is no current passing through the switch, I am using a new fresh hot battery. Will someone tell how the key/switch is suppose to act/and or work please.
