Default Kawasaki Oil Block off

Hello,

I am new here and have looked through the forums back to 2007 just to make sure I am not asking the same info already covered. I have a 1995 STS and a 1995 STX. I have been reading and it seems as though a safer way to run them is without the Oil Pump and just pre-mix the fuel. I have purchased the block off plates however other than removing the pumps and blocking off the hole is ther anything else that needs to be done? Do I need to keep the oil tank and lines? How do I trick the computer into thinking there is oil in the tank?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions you can offer.
