I have a 89 js440 that runs good but no power to the prop...where should i begin? thanks

if engine running and prop not check the connection from like bottom crank arm to prop shaft normally theirs a plastic cover covering where they both connect unscrew that make sure its not broken on mine its like 5 teeth bits with rubber inbetween on each you simply put in between eachother, or take spark plugs out and try spin the prop shaft see if its turning the pistons at same time if doesnt then you no theirs breakage somewhere between engine and prop shaft. hope that makes sense and helps you
