Default slow hole shot

i just took my 2000 1100 zxi out for its maiden voyage yesterday after fixing a number of things. but when i got on the throttle it kinda took a few seconds before it would take off. instead i have to gradually get on the throttle until im on plane and then i can hammer the throttle. any ideas as to what could be causing it to bog down?

its sounds like you have a lack of power cause by something in your motor. check compression and spark. and what did you fix?

i put a new exhaust manifold gasket in the engine, and i rebuilt the carbs, oh and i also disabled the oil pump and started pre-mixing. my compression is good its about 130 on all 3 cylinders. and i have strong spark, however today i replaced the spark plugs after like 2 years of use but it was a little cold to put it in the water today so i hope that will help a little.
