Hi,

I have recently purchased a 1990's JS550 which needs the jet pump putting back together and shimming up. The manual says that this model unlike the JS440 and 650 doesn't require a jet pump liner, however the previous owner stated to me that I would need one prior to assembling.

Please could anyone confirm to me whether this part is required or not?
