zxi fuel guage problems
Recently I bought a 1996 zxi and the fuel gauge doesn't work. I checked the floats on the sender and they are not stuck. With the sender partially removed I was able to move the top floats up and down and the gauge would go up to around a half of a tank. I tested the ohms empty and they were 84 and full it was round 10ohms. I reassembled the tank and filled it up and the gauge didn't move off of empty. What could this issue be? Is it a bad sender, gauge, problems in the wiring? I can't figure it out. Any help would greatly be appreciated.
