I apologize if this has been asked already but I searched and didnt find it. I have my '08 800sx-r and would like to hook up the battery for the season. I have had many 750's and it was always a tight fit but this.... is there a trick to getting the battery in without having to remove engine parts?

I had to take the flame arrestor off from the top of the carbs. Isn't too hard. Sure a tight fit, maybe put a battery cutoff switch in it for next year and some jumpers so you can charge it while installed.

Yeah I took the arrestor off. Still not an easy fit and getting both rubber straps over the battery.... another exercise in madness!
