Just bought 1993 750 ss without battery. Used jumper box to crank before bought. At home in the dark I hooked jumper box up backwards. Now start button does nothing but starter turns if hot ran straight to starter wire. Did I blow a fuse somewhere or what? Also starter interlock switch has been broken off. Could my problem be here even though it started earlier?

Should be a main fuse just under the cap on the ignition/electrical box. Otherwise you could have fried the igniter or voltage regulator. Not too schooled yet on these but maybe I helped.
