I have a 1998,kawasaki 750..I take it out Saturday morning. it run good for about 5 minutes and then it boged down,It had no power after that.I sit there for about 10 minutes floating around..i started it again but still no power.I lifted the sit up and there was some smoke coming out.so i thought it was best to wait for someone to pull me in two hours went by and two men pulled me back..i took it to where i bought it at they said the plugs where filed down so they replaced them.I headed out again.it started right up.It went about ten feet and boged down again...please help..

do a compression test my zxi was doing pretty much the same thing i had a bad cylinder

Compression Test each cycl. should be between 160 to 180, all the way accross. Could be bad cycl. could be head gasket, or fuel related. Have to give us alot more details to help you. what cycl had the bad plug? What is each cycl's compression? How old is the gas? Is the choke on? Each little detail you can give will help.
