I just snagged up a js550 with a steering problem the steering cable is split open making it impossible to turn when your on the throttle. I got a newer cable but how do i get the old one out the nut that holds the outboard end looks impossible to get to. Do i need to take the pump out completely or is there another way. and if i have to take the pump out how do go about doing that.

got to this web page for a parts breakdown and you should be able to figure this one out. New Jet Ski Parts and Used Jetski Parts - Jetskiparts.com look up your ski and then the picture will show you a overview. Nothing is impossible ;-)
