Hello,

I have a new-to-me 1100 STX with 41 hrs on it. After firing up the ski runs great for about 2-3 minutes possibly until it warms up enough and loses all acceleration and bogs out. I can pull the choke out to prevent it from dying all the way but it eventually shuts down and won't restart.

The battery has been replaced, carbs rebuilt w/ new reeds. Fuel and oil replaced.

Other threads have mentioned possibly the coil, stator, or maybe the oil is not injecting properly.

Can someone help me before I lose my mind?

If it is a quick bog and die then it's spark. Sounds more like fuel though. If worried about the oil injection, just premix 50:1 and be done with it. Try restarting it with shooting gas down the carbs. It does have an accelerator pump so try pumping the throttle. Might have some passages plugged in the carb(s) or fuel pump. Rebuild fuel pump too.

Ski is going back in the shop tomorrow. Any chance it could be over heating maybe?
