HELP! kawasaki 1100zxi starts and then will not restart
I have a 1996 1100 zxi. I can get it started and it runs great on the water but if I shut it off to take a break and go to restart it I have no power! NO lights, no cranking, nothing..its completely dead. Then about 10min later I get all the power back to restart it.
Some times it will start a few times in a row and then there is one time where there is no power at all to anything. It does this a lot. I am afraid to shut it off now once I get it started. Any ideas?
I checked the battery and it shows a good charge.
I checked the battery cables and they are tight and secure.
