Default Kawasaki 250X - New 2008

I purchase this Jet Ski new and have been going through the break in period on the engine as recommended in the owner’s manual. My question is once I have this time on it what, if any are the RMP limitations? I see on the tack that 8 and 9 thousand are in red. Does this mean I can only run at these RPM for a short time, or can I run there for long periods? I could not find anything in the book and my local dealer has not been very helpful.

Thanks for the help.

If 8000 rpm is the redline, you should not be running above that (if the engine will even rev that high).
