Default kawasaki stx 900 problems

my kawasaki stx 900 is not performing well. i fitted the engine with a new crank and new pistons. I did the compression test the result was 110 on each cylinder. When i start the engine gas down, it revs 2500 but no more. does anyone have any hints to what's wrong pls?

Have you check the reeds? at lower rpms checking the compression they might be holding up but at higher rev's is where you may have a problem. Look at the carbs also for any vacuum leaks or vacuum lines leaking be careful you don't want to create a lean condition for very long because you know what will happen. Thats where I would start.
