This is my first jetski.

1. I have noticed that on hot days, the gas cap does not vent and the gas tank builds up pressure? Should the gas tank or cap have a vent?

2. Water shoots out of the rubber piece on the right side hull near the registration numbers? Is this normal? Is it telling me that the pump is getting water?

3. When we pulled it out of the lake there was white stuff coated all over the back of the ski? Any idea what this is? It is not bad is it?
