Just wanted to introduce myself. I bought a 2002 1100 STX di this week. Seems owner maintained it, local purchase and has dealer stickers on it from local dealer. Started up fine when I picked it up. Some minor cosmetic scratches but motor looked clean.
I use to ride Yamahas back about 12 years ago, so not totaly new. BUT that was up north in fresh water lakes. I am new to salt water riding.
Anyone local that wants to get together for some riding let me know. I dont know anyone local with a jet ski. I am in sarasota Florida.
Also anything I should watch for with this model? IE typical issues, known problems, etc. I plan on installing new plugs before 1st time out, anything else I may want to check or update?
