Default Ultra 150 Cant Get Started

It sat for about a year, I installed brand new battery. I hooked my battery charger up to the 12v start position and it cranks over once or twice then wont go any more, if I take the plugs out it turns over verry well.. Please help its all new to me..

New plugs and wires, new gas and oil, every thing is brand new. Just cant figure out why it spins with the plugs out and not when i install them.

Hey Willy, I have the same machine and I believe some things you could try are:

Check the connections to the starter and battery to make sure they are good, clean and tight first.

Use a voltmeter on the battery before and during the cranking process. Should be over 12 before and only dip 1 - 2 volts max during crank.

Could need a new starter

Try cranking with only one plug (or better yet a compression tester, my machine has approx 115lbs each) in each cylinder and see if you can isolate a bad cylinder.
