I just bout a starter on eBay for my '89 JS550. It didn't include the bracket that mounts the starter to the bottom end of the engine. I called the guy and he said Kawasaki has done away with that bracket on their starters and you can't get them any more. Is that true?

Seems like there's a lot of weight on the 2 bolts on the one end of the starter if you're not mounting it to something else on the other end?

Anyone know about this or know if I can get a starter with that bracket??
