Default Rope Sucked In

Brand new ski, 0 hours, o6 900 STX. Got about 3 feet off the dock and it sucked in my tie-down rope. Engine stalled, I towed it back and put it on the trailer. Good news is the rope did not make it into the impeller but it wrapped itself around the shaft very tight. I cut the rope free and removed about 99.9% but there still is a small piece that is in there, looks like it fused to itself and is just sitting there, just spins with the shaft but I cant get it out. Any suggestions? The rope did a little damage to the nylon piece that is molded into the hull, not bad just a small dent. I am wondering if it will be ok and come out on its own.
