hey guys, I got a buddy wanting to sell me his 01 ultra 130, but the main thing that gets me is the power trim. it hasnt worked since he bought it 2 years ago and never bothered to fix it or have it looked at. but when you hit the switch, you can hear the solinoid clicking in the hull but nothing happens, any ideas what would cause this and where to start checkin? Thanks

I had a similiar problem with my 2000 Ultra 150. I would press the trim switch and nothing would happen. I disassembled the trim switch which is located on the handle bar, and manually made pressed the contacts and it worked. My trim switch was bad. I purchased a trim switch and the problem is resloved.
