just got a 79 kawasaki 440 and have done a little work(fuel lines and such), but no matter what i do it wont start. it turns over just fine and i can hear it wanting to start. it is getting spark and i know the fuel is good i am pretty sure i replaced the hoses correctly. does anybody have a good check list or trouble shooting list i can go off of. i am about to start taking it apart piece by piece and seeing what i can see. any help would be awesome.

will it start with starter fluid? are you getting gas to the chamber? check the spark plug to see if their wet after cranking. That carb uses the vacume from the engine to pump gas into the chamber. If your getting spark this is a gas issue
