In the water my 650 will start up strong, and run strong for about a minute or two. Then itll bog down and die on me, and it won’t start back up. I can hear the starter spinning but the bendix only engages sometimes for only a few seconds. I have a new bendix coming in the mail soon. So that shoulk take car of the starting problem.

Any ideas about why it’s dying after a minute or two? What should I check? Also smoke will come out of the pisser, if that means anything.

I have a flush kit on the way it should be here soon so that will definitely help me trouble shoot it.

smoke will come out of the pisser I have an 89 version and it smokes a lil out of the pisser at start up too idk about the whole bogging thing though.
