Default 95 900 zxi - Winterized Blues?

For three years I have had perfect luck with my 900's winter sleep. This year, when I started them up, they cranked right to life. I changed out the plugs and hit the water. One ran like lightening, the other felt like it was "slipping". Both worked perfectly in the fall and nothing happened on launch. Same gas, plugs, etc. Where one takes off like a rocket, the other wants to struggle onto plane, then only reach 30 mph. Revs seem good on the troubled ski, yet the ski seems to be running like you were slipping a clutch.

Any ideas on where to start?
