So,
I docked my ski the other day and took the keys with me.

I went to go swimming in the ocean so instead of taking the keys into the water and LOSING them, I left them with my shirt.

when I came back they were GONE!! someone literally STOLE my keys!!!

when I got back to the Ski, it was still there? so WHY steal the keys???

ANYWAY, now the dealer is saying that the ONLY WAY to start this thing now is to COMPLETELY REPLACE THE ECU??? are they SERIOUS???

they cant REFLASH the ECU? send it to Kawasaki so that they can REFLASH IT???

does anyone know?

I tried even calling Kawasaki and they were NO HELP at all!

anyone know anything about this? can anyone HELP?!?!?

It is hard to believe but it istrue. Kawasaki put out a tsb warning dealers to warn customers that if the new smart keys were ever lost you would have to replace the emm. There is no other way around it. Did you lose both the keys? If you still have the SLO key they can make you a new FPO key.
