Default 2000 kawasaki 100 stx di bad plugs

I have a 2000 Kawasaki 1100 stx di, last weekend it was running fine, then I went through a no wake zone and then it started running very poorly like the spark plugs went bad. I checked the plugs and they were black so I replaced them, I took it back out for only a couple minutes to test it and it was still running bad, when I check the new plugs again, 2 of them were black.

Anyone have any thoughts on what might be wrong?

If I remember right it was the fuel injector.

What we ended up doing was buying the diagnostic software from Kawasaki and hooking a computer up to the jet ski to check it. I don't remember how much the software was, but we had to pick up an old laptop to run it on, either win95 or 98.

Hope that helps.
