Default 04 stx12f running like it has a governor

My 04 stx-12f is very hard to start. It has now started only running up to 5500 rpm when it should hit 7k... top speed is only 38 mph... it also builds alot of pressure in the gas tank while trying to start and when running. not sure if this is normal, but if you loosen the gas cap after trying to start, it has enough pressure to actually shoot off when it clears the threads.. any info would be appreciated...

This is how my Ultra is running, it starts up easy though, and I haven't checked for the tank bulding pressure though. 5500rpm usually indicates you're on 2 cylinders. Feel the heads.

OK, the ski is only running on cylinders 1 & 4, 2&3 are not firing. Didn't have time to pull plugs to see if getting fire. cyl 2&3 run off one coil, 1&4 off the other. Can you just swap the pug wires to the other coil to check to see if it is the coil or will it be out of time?
