Default 750 SX Rebuild

Hi,

Just brought a 750 SX with seized engine. So far stripped the head inlet and exhaust manifold and exhaust. The top of bores looked pretty rusty but have cleaned up quite well. I have managed to seperate the bores from the crankcase by a few mm and am assuming the pistons are rusted in position so have giving them a good soaking in oil and going to try to remove then in a couple of days.

Because of the rusty bores im assuming I will also need a new crank and possibly the bores re boring to ensure they are not pitted at all.

Just wondering if there is anything i should really watch for or check when rebuilding this engine? Any thing funny to watch out for? (its the single carb engine)

Many Thanks,

Adam
