Default 1100 ZXI cold Start

Just wondering if anyone can help me out. i got my Jetski back from the mechanic a few weeks ago. When I picked it up, the guy started it just fine. Last night I tried to start it, and nothing. It sounds like it wants to start, but never does.

Anyway, I was wondering something. Will i hurt the engine if I keep trying? Should I hold the button down longer? Can I pull the throttle to help? I cant get it in the shop for a few weeks, so I was going to try to get it started for this weekend.

Even having the choke in several different positions It wont start.

Thanks in Advance.

Just spray some starter fluid down into the intake. Some people say it's not good for the motor but if it has upper cylinder lubricant it's ok. Sometimes that's the only way to get these 2 strokes to start. Make sure you fuel sector is turned on too.

SO I tried a little oil/gas mix in the spark plug holes. It started for about 5 seconds, then died. Im wondering if I didnt use enough. I did squirt about a syringe full in there. About 3ML worth. Not enough maybe?

Try it again, if it still does not run you have a fuel issue.
