He guys, my Mom bought a STX-12F last year and has had some problems with it.

When she bought it, it ran great but I noticed it was taking on water rather quickly...The exhaust manifold was cracked, but fortunately it got fixed under the extended warranty just before it expired.

After that it ran good (started and idled clean, etc.) , but the top speed was dropping the more it was ridden...After a small amount of time I noticed it missing and running rough.

Now that it's getting warm again I'm gonna throw some plugs in it and see if that helps, but I wanted to check with you guys and just see if there's anything else I should check while I'm in there.

BTW the plug I found listed for it is a NGK CR8EK, or 3478 depending on where I look...Is this correct??
