Have you checked your ground(s)? Start simple and eliminate from there.

Nothing happens at all when you hit your start button? Not even a click?

I had run into similar problems like this in the past. Each time I traced it back to the start button, it just did not make contact to engage. When you say you checked the start/Stop what did you do? Many times if I just open the housing and reseat the switch I was able to get it to engage.

I have the same issue, but I do hear a "click" near the electrical box. Suggestions?
Battery is fully charged. After hitting the start button repetitively, the engine turned over a couple of times, but now I have no response, just a click. Thanks

With a volt meter and a known good battery the starting circuit can be tested in a matter of minutes to determine the culprit. These circuits are very simple and easy to repair.
