Hey everyone, im a PWC owner newb. I just caught the bug and bought an 88 650sx for $500 in great running shape. Ive taken it out a few times now and am getting pretty good at riding it. It starts and runs great with no issues, but looking around online, not too many things are being said about this ski. I tried my buddies modded out 85 440js and gotta say it handles WAY better then mine and almost feels like it has the same power/top speed....so where im goin with this is, my ski is BONE STOCK besides an extended ride plate, is it worth gettin upgrades for my ski or are the JS skis a better ski to start with? I know that superjets are highly rated and have a price tag to match. Im just wondering if a 650sx is worth upgrading or should i swap for a 440/550 js?
