Default Ultra 150 low compression

I bought this ultra 150 2 weekends ago. One of my cylinders compression is at 102 the others are 118 and 120. The ski has been running ruff and will not go over 3k rpms on the water or over 7mph. Could the lower compression be why?

Well I took of the cylinder head and everything looks good with no damage to the cylinder walls. I guess it's ring replacement time.... Could having slightly low compression in one cylinder make a ski run like crap?

ISSUE SOLVED - took off my carbs and i'll be damn the whole float pin assembly came out. haha so the first cylinder was flooding with gas. Too bad some damage has been done though 102 compression. O well at least it will run again....

Good to hear you found the problem but 102 psi of compression is walking the fine line. Anything under 100 and it's top end time.
