Default Removing Spark Plug Wires

Hello,

I have a 2006 Kawasaki SX-R 800 and need to remove the spark plug wires. I can easily pull the wires off the plugs but am not sure how to disconnect the wires from the ignition box

Can some please let me know how? They almost look like caps that I would unscrew but don't want to twist too hard. Just want to make sure I'm applying the appropriate force to disconnect.

Thanks!
