Last month I rode my jetski out on the water for 3 hours. When I got back home, I started it to rev the engine to get out the extra water. Since last month, I went to start it today and the engine wont turn over. I charged the battery, checked the oil and made sure it is full of gas. But it still wont start. Don't want to burn out the starter. What should I do? PLEASE HELP, should I spray starter fluid in the air box and try to start it again?

Well, no answers to my problem. So I sprayed the starter fluid into the air box and the engine started but then would die. I gues no fuel is getting to the engine. Should I just change the fuel filter? Anyone know anything?

From the book:
No fuel flow:

No fuel in tank
Fuel tank air vent obstructed
Fuel pump screen and/or fuel filter clogged
Fuel injector trouble
Fuel line clogged

Checking these is a good start.

Do you just plug in a new filter, or do you need to do anything with the gas? Anyone cleaned the screen of a fuel pump before?

Ok, so still no answers. So does anyone know where I can get a Kawasaki Jetski Fuel Filter part # 49019-3721 from for cheap?

I just ordered one, along with new fuel pump. Had the same problem as you! Temp fix was to pull out the fuel pump while it was under power and bang on it a bit with a hammer! Sounds crazy but it works!!
