Default 1995 Kawasaki 750 SS 10 MPH

I was running my jet ski today and on the last run it would move forward but after about 1/3 rd throttle it shakes and bogs down with no speed improvement. After reading these forums it looks like my pump or impeller could have been damaged. I just want to make sure that I am on the right track. I will look them over tomorrow and see if I can see anything wrong. I just don't understand how it will move forward until about 1/3 rd throttle if the impeller or pump is bad.

I had the same symptoms a while back and found that a small piece of wood (stick) was lodged on the propeller. After getting it off, back to normal. So have a look up the grate and in the pump to see if there is any debris.
