Question Are Kawasaki 900zxi's good?

Hey guys I'm new to the forum and jet skis. I have a couple questions. I have seen a couple Kawasaki jet skis for sale in my area (North East NY) The ones i like are the 1996 and 1997 900 zxi's. I was just wondering if these are reliable jet skis? Also is there any common problems with them besides the trim not working because of that seal either falling out or not being there? Any other major problems or concerns? One example of one I have found is a 1996 900zxi that says excellent condition for its age and it comes with a cover and trailer for 1700 or b/o here is the link:

JetSki

Does that seem like a good deal?

Also Is there any other recommendations to other good brands, I was also looking at the Seadoo Spx 720s I heard they were a good reliable motor.

Also I like the older VXR and VXR pros, I know those are good engines also.

So guys any thoughts on anything I've mentioned?

Thanks

ive got a 96 zxi 900 did alot of work and its well maintained and it is very reliable yes the trim does normally pack in but its becouse of water get in the control box which then knockes the speedo off and some time other gauges ... i normally open all electric boxes and plugs let them dry out and use a marine spray i do this every 3 to 4 months of normal riding but if the ski get surmerged i then open all e boxes and conections and re spray... also the oil pump some times fail giving it that it is a 96 which means 15 years of age.. rip the pump out and block it off and go pre mix ...ive read on the forum that other people have other probloms and issues but if you take good care and spend a bit of time maintaining them and keep every thing lubed up every thing should be good and you will have a lot of fun ...
i go riding my ski with 2 of my other mates and some times it will spoil a good weekend on their behalf as there skis some times wont start at the boatramp flat batterys / seized throttle cable /blocked up fuel filters / water in fuel/or loose battery cables we normally do get them running there and then but allot of messing around when we should be out having fun .... and they have nice and qiucker skis than me one is a yamahah and the other is a see doo but its all lack of maintence or lazyness
