Default 98 SXI Pro Performance carb questions.

I bought a 98 750 SXI Pro this summer and have had a blast on it. It has a Super BN 46mm single carb coupled to a BCW hi-flo intake and reeds on it. The guy I bought it from said he did it for more low end power. It also has a Factory Pipe dry pipe on it. My question is would I be better off with the stock dual carb setup for play riding or is the single carb the way to go?? I ride with some guys that have stock SXR 800s and they seem to run pretty good stock. I was just looking at the box of parts in the garage and got to thinking. Any input would be appreciated.

Most the lakes we hit in Montana are at about 4500ft.

I have a 2010 sxr, and coming from the single carb set up on my previous ski to the dual I have now, I'll go through more fuel in hour than any single carb ski. Performance wise, if your keeping up with your friends and your ski runs good I'd say keep it
