Unhappy Kawasaki js550 1986 starting problem

Hi guys!

Just new in the site and forum.

I´ve been working on my jetski lately due water leaks on the electrical box ( the js was running weak sometimes).

After pulling out every single part of the engine and electrical box, cleaning the hood and so I just finished the assembly.

I must say that I connected wrongly the negative pole to the electrical box and when pushing the start button a bit of smoke came out from the box and the negative tiny wire got hot, I fixed that and now it has the correct position.

When I finally started it today the jetski went crazy and started to spill bad burned gas/oil thru the exhaust and thru the water line exit on the side!!!

I checked both sparks, are in good condition, both have spark but it seems that the right cylinder is not burning the gas, the left is working perfectly.

I interchanged sparkplugs and so and the right cylinder still doesnt work.

What could it be? Could Ive burned any part of the electrical box or the stator so the timing for the right cylinder is wrong now?

I beg for your help, have no idea what to do! THANKS!!

Default damn 86 kawasaki

i have the same problem only one of my cylinder work properly. the only reason i found out one of them work is because i tried to check spark in my front cylinder and she started up no problem. i was baffled i thought i had water in a cylinder or something but no water. if you find out what the deal is on this let me know.

p.s i read somewhere about a reed valve not sure if i have one but if i do could it be the cause of letting my pressure in my cylinder just come back out the carb and is that why when i have the front spark plug out she will start because there is nothing coming out and just letting it out the hole? sorry for the scatter brain just my mind is racing.
