Default No gas after 3 day sit

Hi folks, I am new to the site so please excuse me if I am posting this in the wrong area.
I have a 1997 kawasaki 1100 spx that seems to loose gas after sitting a couple of days. It cranks a long time but eventually starts and then works good all day. Has anyone else had this problem and is there a solution. Great machine once its started.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Is the choke closing properly? It seems that all the Kawi tripples are a bit slow on the first fire-up after sitting a while. Some owners add a primer kit.
