compression should be 120 psi. anything under 100 is unacceptable. time for a top end rebuild on that zxi.

sorry, misread your model, but compression should be the same. as a rule for 2 stroke pwc, 2cylinders should have 150 and 3 cylinders should have around 120

Yea gonna need to freshen up the top end....

Would you know if this is why i'm not getting any fuel to all the cylinders? I had removed all the carbs and cleaned and replaced some diaphrams..Also removed and inspected fuel pump....I can only get it to start by putting premix into the cylinders and once it finnaly starts it will run on its own...I even removed the fuel filter to rule that out....I can easily stop the flow out the return line with my finger easily...

Also i installed a gauge on the pulse line that goes to the fuel pump and it get around 5psi...

Default top end kits?

have any recomendations for a top end kit ?

Correct me if wrong....I'm planning on needing the gaskets (jug, head and exaust) Rings for each cylinder and honing...

Not many hours on the machine and would like to stay away from boring and new pistons...

Btw oil pump failure caused these issues but that has been replaced now...tks

sbt has a cylynder exchange avail. that will include needed gaskets. if your ski has mikuni c.v carbs you may want to take them in to a shop that is familiar with the system. they can be complicated even for pros.

if hard staring is your only problem, install a primer kit in place of the choke.
