Default Installing a supercharger belt on a 260x?

Trying to put a new supercharger belt on my 260x that is broken. I have a service manual and it says to remove the engine mount bolts and slide the engine forward. Is this what you guys are doing? Is there a way to loosen the coupler from the driveshaft for the pump and install it that way? I have the pump out, but there is about 1/2 to 1" more clearance needed to slide the belt through there. Is there an easier solution or should I just pull the exhaust off and slide the engine forward after loosening the engine mounts.

you can probably slide engine forward enough without taking exhaust apart. loose the waterbox straps and that should give you room to slide it forward.
