Hey Outlaw. Glad you are doing OK. I hadn't seen you around the forum lately, so I figured you were staying busy.
Yea, I also looked at the RXT and RXP-X at the boat show. I really like what they have done with the seating, etc.. Very nice looking skis. If I was in the market for a new ski, I think I'd have to go with the RXT right now. I looked at the new Yamaha's and they are also nice, but I wasn't real impressed with the styling of the new models, and I'm too much of a coucher for a FZR.
That center console sounds nice. I was looking at the SeaHunts at the boat show. Prices were not bad, but once you get them all rigged out it adds up quick. My dream boat is a 26-30 foot center console with dual or triple outboards. I could do some serious offshore fishing.
The way things are warming up here in the south, it won't be long before I'm back on the water.
Hey Ernest, thanks for the message. Been busy this winter working some part time gigs. I do dealer trades for new car dealers, Subaru, Ford and Nissan. I love it just get paid for driving with no one up my butt. Get to drive new cars of all makes and used ones also. I was just about in North Carolina on one south of Richmond VA. Saw the new Seadoo RXP-X at the Atlantic City Boat show, looks mean and nasty but 14 k is a little much. Saw the Yamaha dealer there also, got the low down on the FZR HP,he said only 210 HP which surprises me. But with RIVA parts the sky is the limit. Jerry Gaddis from Green Hulk built a nasty Turbo FZR doing in the 90's. Just running the same stuff this year the wife wants a 21' center console fishing boat.
Hey Outlaw, I thought it had been too quiet around the forum. Where you been? Sometimes I think I confuse more than I help, but my advise good or bad is free. I learn more than anything I might teach from guys like you, so thanks for your kind words.
That IBR system looks fun.......how wet do you get when you slam on the brakes at 68 mph? See you around the forum.
How ya doing Ernest? Did ya miss my colorful posts while I was gone? It keeps an old guy like me busy. I got you by a year. Well just thought I would say hi and tell you that you have a lot of quality knowledge, which helps out a lot of people. How do you like my new avatar? Thats Seadoo's telltale like Yamaha's lol it's the IBR system I was testing at 68 mph nice rooster tail, ya think.
See Ya --- Bob
