Default water leaking into hull

i started getting water inside my hull of a 98 sltx 1050. i decided to find the leak by putting water in the hull and look for the leak. i think i found it. it appears the water is leaking where the driveshaft goes thru the hull. i looked on polaris website and they have a parts book but nothing to tell me how to remove all this. i decided to pull the jet and drive shaft out but now i cant get anything else removed to find the seal and oring that looks to be the problem.

one i cant get the bottom plate and grate off. any tips on how to remove them. they are pretty well sealed with gasket sealer.

any help would be appreciated.

The drive shaft seal is located in the engine compartment.Behind the engine is a shroud secured by a hose clamp. That clamp is on the seal/bearing assembly.
Another leak point is the plastic fitting located behind the seal/bearing,where the hose attaches,it could come loose. It threads into the hull.
