Question Polaris 2000 Genesis

Need to adjust idle, at too high of a rev. running at about 1640 rpm at idle.

My jetski mechanic told mee to make sure my genesis is idling around 1800 in the water.

the spec for idle for a genesis without toching the gas is 850 to 900 in water out side it will de 1200 remember is a strait shaft is not a gear box
