I have a 99 1050 that has carb issues. the ski had sat for 3 years and it was time to rebuild the sticky carbs. Now Im familar with the CDK 2's however i decided to buy a entire triple carb rack new. i assembled the carbs on the ski and its running worse than it did before. i went and tore down the carbs to make sure the jets and pop off pressure was correct. i could find nothing at all wrong besides the small holes in the ventrui were in different places on the carbs anyone ever seen this?? thanks

there are 38 and 40mm keihins.the 98 slxh,99 slx,00 slx all came with 40's.when the flame arrestor base is bolted on there is a lip where the base is larger than the carb top.those are 40's.if there is no lip they are 38's.40's came in 2 versions,the sl1050 didn't have a accl pump,all others did.the sl1050's had only 2 jets.all other had three.hope this helps
