Default 92 650sl

Looking to replace the battery as part of a weak spark scenario. Would like to buy the battery today, but problem is the watercraft is at the lake 2 hours away. Can one of the other SL650 owners on the forum tell me the dimensions of the battery. Not so much height but length and width.

Hey Bear -- Just a suggestion - Do yourself a favor and spend the add'tl $$'s and get a AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat) battery for your ski (I did and am very glad I did). The batteries in the skis take more of a beating than the ones for our m/c's and I have found the AGM's will last longer than the typical lead/acid batteries.

OK thanks for the advice.

As an aside do you know if the spark plug wires on the SL650 Polaris can be replaced without changing the associated coil. I have checked with 2 suppliers and they only list a part number for the coil - no plug wire. Don't want to rip the wire out if it is integral to the coil. It has a rubber cover on it where it attaches to the coil, but.........
