Talking 2001 Polaris Virage Help

Hell everyone, im new to the forum and have some questions about a jetski I just bought. It is a 2001 Polaris Virage and got it for next to nothing. It currently has a problem with leaking water around the shaft. Does anyone know what part this is and best place to buy it? How hard is it to replace? Im new to the new jet ski world and know a lot about small motors but never have worked on the jet ski components. Can anyone provide and input? The guy I bought it from stated it was "leaking water in where the shaft comes in". He wasnt very helpful diagnosing what actually was wrong with it. Thanks guys
